What has most likely happened? A: A mutation has rendered MutS non-functional B: The Uvr proteins no longer function C: DNA Glycoslases are non-functional D: The DAM methylase is non-functional E: The XP proteins are non-functional I think it is either A or D but Im leaning towards A. In my notes it says that everything begins with the MutS protein but I know that the DAM methylase is the onle that comes in and differenciates it and fixes the non-methylated adenine. Im just confused because only one can be the answer choice. I would really appreciate an explanation along with an answer if you could help!!! Thank you oh so much. Show less
